Craig Archdeacon

Craig Archdeacon is the General Manager APAC at Waterstons, where he leads the Australian business with a focus on cybersecurity, digital transformation, and resilience. With over a decade of experience in cybersecurity, data protection, and security auditing, Craig has supported organisations across all sectors but a heavy focus on higher education, and manufacturing to navigate complex risk and compliance challenges.

Previously Head of Cyber Assurance in the UK, he led major programs aligned to ISO 27001, GDPR, Cyber Essentials , and other security frameworks. In Australia, he has built a growing team delivering managed security services, executive threat briefings, and practical resilience strategies.

Craig is a frequent speaker on practical AI governance, cyber insurance, and the human side of cybersecurity. He also developed 'Udder Disaster', a gamified cyber simulation designed to help boards engage with security in an accessible way.
