Courtney Nuara, CRCM, CAMS, MBA

Courtney Nuara is a seasoned risk management professional with over 15 years of comprehensive experience spanning Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) compliance, regulatory oversight, fraud prevention, information security, vendor risk management, and credit risk. She currently serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer at Bay State Bank, where she leads the Risk Management function and acts as the institution’s designated Bank Secrecy Officer.

Courtney holds a BS in International Business and a BA in Criminology from Stonehill College, as well as an MBA from Nichols College. She is also a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) and a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS).
