He established a joint taskforce between INTERPOL's environmental crime and financial crime units, together with the anti-money laundering global programme at the UN Office of Drugs and Crime, to investigate the illicit financial flows linked to environmental crime.
He continues to work as an independent consultant advising various international organisations on wildlife and timber trafficking and illicit financial flows.
