Pablo Canton

Pablo Canton is the Senior Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer for ABANCA. He has over 30 years of experience assisting domestic and international financial institutions in the U.S, Europe, Central America, South America, and the Caribbean with Regulatory Compliance related matters. 

Pablo is CAMS certified since 2007, achieved a juris master’s degree with FIU Law specialized in Banking Compliance and a bachelor’s degree in international business with FIU.  He also maintains his CFE and other professional certifications.  He has served as subject matter expert for the United Nations Office of Drugs and Crime and has collaborated with various U.S. Federal Law Enforcement agencies on financial crimes investigations.
