I have devoted my entire 19-year legal career to the fight against crime, first as a national prosecutor, and after the creation of the European Public Prosecutor's Office, I continued my career in this supranational institution of the European Union.
I am also researching the issues and challenges of the European Public Prosecutor's Office's competences in my PhD thesis at Mykolas Romeris University Law School.
Investigating financial crime affecting the EU budget and detecting fraud is a key part of my work as European Delegated Prosecutor.
