Victoria is a career diplomat with Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). She leads the human trafficking and counter modern slavery team that support’s Australia’s Ambassador to Counter Modern Slavery, People Smuggling and Human Trafficking to drive Australia’s international agenda to end human trafficking, forced labour, child marriage and other forms of exploitation.
In Canberra, Victoria previously led DFAT’s multilateral human rights team (2021-2024) and the fragility and conflict team. She has served with DFAT in Indonesia and Sri Lanka, the United Nations in New York and in the field (Cairo and Jakarta), and with non-government organisations.
