
Ruben Del Valle

Ruben Del Valle is currently a Supervisor (Team Leader) for the U.S. Postal Inspection Service New York Division, covering mail/identity theft and work-place violence investigations in Manhattan and Staten Island, NY. He has over 25 years in federal law enforcement, with an expertise in developing analytics programs, technical teams, and intelligence-led solutions from concept to completion.
In 2008, he originated an intelligence unit for the Inspection Service focused on data analytics derived from business systems to support investigations. He established training programs to develop intelligence analysts from entry-level to supervisory positions, which became an accredited course in conjunction with the Inspection Service Academy. His expertise included the use of analytics to support contraband, fraud, and anti-money laundering investigations as a National Headquarters Program Manager until 2022.
In addition, he implemented financial investigative services as well as information & technology (IT) development teams. Utilizing agile development practices and known investigative techniques, he launched several products designed to support more than 1,300 analysts and investigators, streamlining daily operations.
Prior to joining the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, he previously worked for legacy U.S. Customs Service, currently known as Customs & Border Protection (CBP). He attended St. John’s University, and a graduate the College of Staten Island (CSI) with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Additionally, he is a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) and possess a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
