Michał Szermer

Michał is the director of the Department of Financial Information in the Ministry of Finance, which carries out the statutory responsibilities of the General Inspector of Financial Information – counteracting money laundering and terrorism financing. He has been with the Polish FIU since 2014. Michał provides training to both foreign and domestic competent authorities concerning ML/TF issues. As an international expert and MONEYVAL evaluator, he is also engaged in assessments of the effectiveness of AML/CFT systems in other countries.
