Jadgesh Ramjit

Jadgesh Ramjit is currently Manager, Head Office at Republic Bank Limited only just recently holding the role of Manager Investigations and Reporting at Compliance with responsibility as Alternate Compliance Officer for Republic Bank Limited, Compliance Officer for Republic Wealth Management Limited and Group oversight for investigations and reporting. With over 15 years of financial services experience, Jadgesh has lead Teams in Suriname, the Cayman Islands and Barbados in 2015 and 2016, with responsibility to lead the AML/ CFT initiatives on the Bank’s acquisitions. He has also led Teams in Group Treasury and the development and building of the Shared Services Operations.

A US Fulbright Scholar, Jadgesh holds a Master of Business Administration, from the University of Akron and a Bachelor of Science in Management Studies (major) and Economics and Finance (minor) with 1st class Honours, from the University of the West Indies. He also holds the designations of Certified Management Accountant, Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (ACAMS) and has earned his Certified Risk and Compliance Management Professional qualification (CRCMP) from the International Association of Risk and Compliance Professionals (IARCP). He has recently earned the Certified Artificial Intelligence Scientist (CAIS) designation from the United States Artificial Intelligence Institute (USAII) in his pursuit of keeping abreast with technology.

To him, one of his most profound achievements was the completion of the Columbia Business Executive Program on Driving Performance and Change which illuminated his thoughts on Neuroplasticity and the Growth Mind set.

He is a avid reader, with The Body Keeps The Score by Van Der Kolk, Daring Greatly by Berne Brown and The Fifth Agreement by Don Miguel Ruiz being some of his favorite books and in his spare time attends to his duties as a director of the Rotary Club of St Augustine and VP of the Fulbright Alumni Association of T&T.
