Ronald Kiefer

Ron Kiefer is a seasoned financial services professional with over 25 years of experience in the industry.  He has a robust background in Broker/Dealer Operations, Corporate Finance, Enterprise Risk Management, BSA/AML, and OFAC/Sanctions compliance. As the Regulatory Risk and Policy Manager at Ocean Bank, a leading South Florida financial institution with assets exceeding $6 billion, Ron leads the OFAC/Sanctions Compliance program and oversees Foreign Correspondent Banking, Beneficial Ownership rule, and CTR filings/customer exemptions. Prior to his role at Ocean Bank, Ron served as the BSA Risk Manager at Amerant Bank, where he conducted comprehensive BSA/AML/OFAC risk assessments and oversaw models designed to mitigate Sanctions risks across the organization. Ron holds an MBA with a concentration in Financial Management from National University California.
