Arjen Berghouwer, CAMS, CGSS, CAMS-FCI

Arjen Berghouwer is the Head of FEC Intelligence and Investigations at ING Belgium, where he joined in November 2020. Prior to joining ING Belgium, Arjen worked 4.5 years in the United States for Citibank's global financial crime investigations unit and 8 years in Mexico for various financial institutions. Apart from overseeing global complex investigations, Arjen has been mainly involved in global project implementations and regional Compliance oversight roles. He started his career within the financial crime compliance field in 2005 with ABN AMRO in Amsterdam where he worked on a global project to re-assess the KYC client risk scores for all client segments.
