Brian Koechner owns and operates his own CPA firm specialzing in fraud and forensics.  Koechner was previously a Digital Asset Specialist at the Federal Reserve Bank where he focused on financial technology and Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering matters. Prior to joining the bank, Koechner spent more than 10 years at the FBI investigating complex financial crimes, human trafficking, digital assets, public corruption, cyber and crypto crimes, and transnational organized crimes. Koechner served as the crime scene photographer and drone pilot on the evidence response team and was a member of the virtual currency response team. Prior to joining the Bureau, Koechner worked in the big four public accounting space for 8 years specializing in private equity, hedge fund and high net worth individuals. Koechner previously served in the United States Marine Corps while attending the University of Missouri. Koechner is also an accounting professor at William Jewell College.
