Benay Nachin, CAMS, CAMS-FCI

Benay Nachin has over 30 years of industry experience with a focus on BSA/AML compliance.  She currently works at BNY as a senior Vice President in the Enterprise Onboarding Platform  .  She has worked on several projects at the bank, the most recent being compliance/technical support for the development of the Customer Risk Rating methodology.  Prior to BNY Benay spent five years in consulting with Capco and Deloitte.  While working as a consultant, Benay was exposed to all types of financial institutions, bank and non-bank, and her projects consisted of everything from AML Program Development to KYC remediations.

Benay has also had the unique opportunity to volunteer her financial expertise overseas in Amman, Jordan and Moscow, Russia teaching bankers in these countries about U.S. best practices.

She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania.  She holds certifications in Compliance (CRCM) and AML (CAMS-FCI).
