Sean
McCrossan, CAMS-FCI
Sean is the Vice President, BSA, Compliance and Privacy Officer at Connecticut Mutual Holding Company (CMHC). The holding company consists of three separate and independent banks all of which fall under Sean’s purview for ensuring regulatory compliance: Litchfield Bancorp, Northwest Community Bank and the Collinsville Savings Society. He is responsible for a wide range of duties relating to the holding company’s adherence to governmental financial regulations and laws including those specific to BSA/AML compliance.
Sean has previously worked as a "Service Associate" for Farmington Bank; as an intern for the U.S. Postal Inspection Service where he was introduced to his first SAR; and has managed multiple AML/BSA/OFAC Compliance and Investigations teams during his time of employment with People’s United Bank from 2013 – 2017.
In 2008, Sean graduated from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies. In 2010, he received his Master’s Degree in Business Management and a certificate in Homeland Security Management from the University of St. Joseph in West Hartford, CT. Sean is CAMS certified and is the Programming Director for the ACAMS Connecticut Chapter.
