John Langdale is an Honorary Research Fellow at the Department of Security Studies and Criminology at Macquarie University in Sydney. His research interests are in money laundering and transnational crime in the Asia-Pacific region. Recent research has examined the role of Chinese money laundering groups in North America, with a particular focus on the Vancouver Model of money laundering. He has also provided evidence on crime in Asian casinos at the Bergin Inquiry into money laundering at Crown Casino.
