Oxman
Steve Oxman is the Senior Director of Global Certification and Training for ACAMS. For nearly twenty years, Steve has been focused on delivering educational programs that meet the needs of diverse learners across a wide array of content areas. He developed programs for multiple divisions of Kaplan and for Western International University, running the full range from classroom-based to fully digital, including every combination in between. He has taught Shakespeare at Yale and SAT Prep in South Central Los Angeles. He traveled to Croatia as a U.S. State Department Professional Fellow to deliver presentations on training the workforce of the future. As a participant in the National Science Foundation’s Innovation Corps for Learning, he mentored a team of educators working on a game designed to teach cryptography to kids. Prior to joining ACAMS In March of 2018, he was Director of Learning Sciences at Adtalem Global Education, where he worked on a video game to teach nurses about safely administering medication, piloted digital badging and video assessment technology, and wrote a widely cited white paper on adaptive learning systems. Most importantly, in January 2019, he became CAMS-certified.
