Shaun Day is currently a compliance manager in the EMEA Sanctions team at JPMorgan. He leads the sanctions advisory and sanctions investigations function, specialising in the application of both U.S. and non-U.S. sanctions to JPMorgan’s activities. He provides specialist sanction support to the Securities Services and Markets activities of JPMorgan. Shaun also supports engagement with the UK and European banking sector representative bodies from a sanctions perspective. Prior to working at JPMorgan, Shaun was an anti-trust economist for the UK government and various regulatory agencies before becoming Chief Economist at the BBC, providing economic advice to the Board. He is based in Bournemouth on the South coast of England.
