Jonathan Brewer is a Visiting Professor at King’s College London, based in New York since 2010. He is a former Acting Coordinator of the UN Panel on DPRK; Coordinator of the UN 1540 Group of Experts and Financial Expert of the UN Panel on Iran. Previously, as a member of the UK Foreign Service (1983-2010), he was posted overseas to UK Embassies in Luanda, Mexico City and Moscow, and, in London, as Secretary of the UK Joint Intelligence Committee and as Head of Counter-Proliferation.
