Alek Dvoskin, CAMS

Alek currently serves as the Global Intelligence Lead in Block's Financial Crime Compliance organization, bringing extensive experience in cryptocurrency investigations, financial intelligence, and complex investigations across both private and public sectors.

His career spans leadership roles at major financial institutions, including heading PayPal's Compliance Investigations Americas and Global Crypto Investigation teams. At HSBC, he served as Deputy Director of the Financial Intelligence Unit's Client Intelligence team, where he specialized in detecting sophisticated illicit networks, sanctions evasion, and emerging financial crime typologies.

Before transitioning to the private sector, Alek held a Supervisory Intelligence Analyst position with the FBI's Intelligence Division in New York, leading teams supporting sensitive investigations.

His academic credentials include a Master's Degree in Criminal Justice with an Investigations specialization, graduate certificates in Terrorism Studies from John Jay College and Blockchain Innovations from M.I.T., and CAMS certification.
