Overview
The ACAMS Netherlands Chapter will be hosting an in-person event on “FEC Horizon Scan: 2025 and Beyond”.
The following speakers will be presenting at the event:
Tom van de Laar, Global Head of Financial Crime Compliance and Deputy Chief Compliance Officer for Rabobank Group, will discuss a potential new weapon on information sharing in the AMLR, which has finally been added, after being endlessly discussed and promoted by both the public and the private sectors over the last years.
Melissa van den Broek, Senior Manager at KPMG Forensic in the Netherlands, will share the updates and changes that come with the so-called “EU AML Package” – adopted earlier this year. She will focus on the creation of the European Single Rulebook as laid down in the new AML Regulation and Directive, and the establishment of the European Anti-Money Laundering Authority (AMLA) and its future tasks and powers. In navigating the future FEC landscape, a good understanding of upcoming laws and regulations is indispensable.
After the presentations, the speakers will partake in a panel discussion and Q&A session with the audience.
