Joan Pilsmaker has held several leadership positions, focusing on AML operations and technical skills leveraging 30 years of Financial Crimes for banking and casino operations.

She has supervised investigations both domestically and internationally. Award-winning developer of streamlined processes and innovative tools. She is also the joint holder of a USPATENT (US 8,706,587 B1 Statistical Prioritization and Detection of Potential Financial Crime Events).

Joan is currently the AML Manager for Encore Boston Harbor. Her prior experience includes State Street Bank, Bank of America and RBS Citizens.

Elizabeth Owen is the Senior Vice President of Anti-Money Laundering and Fraud Prevention at Berkshire Bank. With over ten of years of experience, she is a self-titled BSA nerd and "intentional" BSA Officer who specializes in AML program enhancement, BSA Department team building, and development of initiatives for high risk clients, such as FinTech, cannabis, and money services businesses. Liz enjoys communicating the importance of BSA's role in combating financial crimes with the intent of helping folks understand its impact and purpose beyond compliance. Liz holds a master's degree in criminal justice from Boston University and bachelor's degree in political science from UMass Dartmouth.

Chris Dick is a Director in RSM’s Anti-Money Laundering & Regulatory Compliance consulting practice. He has over 15 years of experience providing AML and sanctions related consulting services to a number of financial institutions and financial services firms; and serves as a firm designated subject matter expert in AML and sanctions compliance. 

Prior to joining RSM Chris was at Navigant Consulting, where he focused on AML investigations and due diligence.  

Chris’s consulting service experience includes management of regulatory enforcement action remediation projects, “look back” investigations, high risk account reviews, transaction monitoring and OFAC system validation, risk assessment, training and compliance program design/implementation including enhanced due diligence and customer risk rating methodologies. Chris has worked with dozens of financial institutions including banks, credit unions, broker/dealers, insurance companies, mutual funds and foreign and domestic operations of banks based in Europe, Latin America, Australia, the Middle East, Central Asia and East Asia.    

Chris has been CAMS certified since 2009 and earned a B.S. in International Economics from Georgetown University.  

Kari is the Director of Financial Crimes and BSA/AML/OFAC Officer for Rockland Trust Company.  Kari is responsible for the oversight of the AML and Fraud operations for the bank.

Kari has been CAMS certified since 2010 and also holds the advance certification in Advanced Financial Crimes Investigations Specialist; which was received in 2017.

Jayson, or "Jay," is an experienced AML/AFC compliance professional with over 15 years of global expertise in financial crimes, strategy, and risk management. He is a proven leader in executing high-impact compliance programs, remediating deficiencies, and restoring institutions to full regulatory compliance. Jay is also skilled in driving cultural transformations that foster a strong compliance environment. As a trusted advisor to executive teams, he anticipates regulatory shifts and adapts strategies to emerging risks, using innovative approaches to enhance efficiency and scalability. His expertise spans fintech, digital assets, and crypto AFC, with a focus on operational excellence, innovation, and sustained regulatory adherence.

Currently, Jay serves as the BSA/AML and OFAC Compliance Officer at FNZ Trust Company. Outside of work, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two dogs, playing guitar and drums, and boating and fishing in Cape Cod Bay.
