Ms. Dang is an Advanced Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist, specializing in Audit (CAMS-Audit), having published a whitepaper, “Financial Inclusion, Developing Economies, and Effective Implementation of the Risk-Based Approach in AML/CTF: The Need for Legislative and Regulatory Leadership to Motivate Private Sector Commitment & the Role of Audit.” She conducted numerous AML trainings around Asia Pacific, including for central banks, financial institutions, and universities. A frequent speaker in APAC, US and Europe, Ms. Dang was the Program Chair for all ACAMS-APAC training events, including the three Annual AML and Financial Crime Conferences (APAC, Indian Subcontinent and Australasia), and annual symposia held in Singapore, Hong Kong, Taipei, Tokyo, Beijing, Shanghai, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Macau and Seoul.

Ms. Dang has over 25 years’ experience in banking and finance. She was a Bank Examiner at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, Manager with Barclays Capital’s Investment Banking Division in Singapore, Director of Business Development at Citibank’s Global Consumer Banking Group in Singapore. In her positions as Director of Business Development, Asia/Pacific, for Thomson Financial, and General Manager of Thomson Financial Publishing, based in Hong Kong, she also developed the first-ever financial-markets news portal for the APAC region, “Thomson Capital Markets Asia“ (TCMAsia.com), launched in 2001.

Ms. Dang holds educational degrees from the US, with a Bachelor of Arts, with honors, from Amherst College and a Master in Public Policy from Harvard University, John F. Kennedy School of Government.

Ms. Cody is a Director, Head of AML Advisory at Sofi. Ms. Cody is a board member for Carolina’s Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists and the ABA Board. She is a certified anti-money laundering expert with three professional certifications and a BA from Wells College. She has written several articles and spoken on various topics related to multiple issues within Financial Crime. Ms. Cody holds the position of Director, Head of AML Advisory at Sofi. She serves on the board of directors for the Carolina’s Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists and the ABA Board. Possessing three professional certifications, she is a certified anti-money laundering expert and holds a BA from Wells College. Ms. Cody is an author of several articles and a presenter on diverse subjects pertaining to issues within Financial Crime.

Jason Frantz, MBA, CRCM, CAMS, CFE has a diverse work experience in the field of financial crimes compliance and risk management. Jason is currently serving as the Vice President of Fraud Risk Management at Wright-Patt Credit Union, a position they have held since June 2023. Prior to this, Jason worked as the Director of Financial Crimes Advisory at AML RightSource from July 2021 to June 2023. Jason also held the position of Vice President of Enterprise Financial Crimes Compliance at U.S. Bank from April 2019 to July 2021. Before that, Jason was the Director of Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU)/KYC at Discover Financial Services from November 2014 to February 2019. Jason began their career at JPMorgan Chase & Co. as an AML/KYC Operations Manager and worked there from January 2006 to October 2014.

Jason Frantz holds a B.A. degree in Criminology from The Ohio State University, which they obtained from 1999 to 2002. Jason furthered their education by pursuing an MBA in Business Administration from Capital University, graduating between 2010 and 2012. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) designation from the American Bankers Association in February 2019. Jason Frantz also holds the Certified Financial Examiner (CFE) certification obtained from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) in April 2023. Furthermore, they have listed a certification as a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMLS) from ACAMS without specific details regarding when or where they obtained it.
