Rob is a Special Agent Accountant with the Virginia State Police (VSP), Bureau of Criminal Investigation, Chesapeake Field Office, where he is detailed to the Department of Homeland Security, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), office in Norfolk, Virginia. He is assigned to the Hampton Roads Human Trafficking Task Force/Fraud Group at HSI where he works money laundering violations of human trafficking cases, complex financial fraud schemes, government benefit fraud, wire fraud and money laundering derived from other criminal conduct, to name just a few. He has been with VSP for 9 years after retiring from NCIS as a Special Agent for 26 years. Rob has been working with BSA/AML professionals in the Eastern District of Virginia, since 2003, when SAR review teams were established to examine suspicious financial activity in regions throughout the country. He is a charter member of the Norfolk/Richmond SAR Review Team (SART), now known as the Tidewater (EDVA Newport News/Norfolk) SAR Review Team.
