Lee Brown currently is a contract analyst with Morgan Stanley’s Corporate Security & Investigations responsible for due diligence research and analysis.
Lee has over 23 years of federal law enforcement experience, beginning his career with the United States Customs Service as special agent and retiring in 2021 as the Resident Agent in Charge (RAC) with Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) in Santa Rosa, Calif. During his law enforcement career, Lee led the Financial Crimes Unit charged with investigating money laundering and illicit proceeds of crimes. He was also a National Program Manager on temporary assignment to the Illicit Finance and Proceeds of Crime Unit (IFPCU) in Washington, D.C. In that capacity, he was the National Program Manager for the Third-Party Money Laundering Program (3PML). In addition, Lee has conducted financial training for HSI and domestic and international law enforcement partners and assisted the Illicit Digital Economy Program (IDEP).
