Annely Akkermann was born on 5 October 1972 in Kihnu. She is divorced and a mother of a son and two daughters. Akkermann joined the Estonian Reform Party in 2018. From 2002 to 2018, she was a member of the Isamaa party.
Employment history and career
- In 2021–2022, she was a member of the 14th (XIV) Riigikogu as well as the Finance Committee and the State Budget Control Select Committee of the Riigikogu.
- In 2017–2022, she was the Head of OÜ Eystra Yachts.
- In 2011–2015, she was a member of the thirteenth (XII) Riigikogu as well as the Deputy Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Select Committee of the Riigikogu.
- In 2011–2022, she was the Head of OÜ Luited.
- In 2009–2011, she served as Deputy Mayor of Pärnu in the field of finance.
- In 2005–2009, she served as Mayor of Kihnu rural municipality.
- In 2002–2005, she was a member of the Board of AS Kihnu Veeteed.
- In 1992–2015, she was a member of the Board of SA Avatud Kihnu Fond.
- In 1991–2006, she was a member of the Board of Kihnu Rand AS.
- In 1990–1991, she served as a secretary of the Pärnu Commercial Bank.
Education
She graduated from the University of Tartu in 2009 with a degree in economics.
