Jeremy
Round
Jeremy is a computer scientist who turned his back on the ivory tower where he helped develop the next generation of mainframe computers, to see the world, meet people, and find out what they did with those computers.
In 2005 he was invited to fix a significant problem in a large bank featuring sanctions screening, a regulator, and a very big fine, he has done nothing else professionally since.
Jeremy and his team work with financial institutions, regulators, and vendors around the world to get the best possible value from screening systems, the data that goes into them, and the investigations that result from them.
His company’s motto is “Bridging the gap between business and IT” a very apt statement for sanctions where much business dependency is put on screening technology that is often little understood.
