Cassie Strandlie is a Lead Financial Crimes Officer in the Global Financial Crimes Intelligence Group (GFCIG) at Wells Fargo. Her main area of focus is human trafficking. Cassie conducts analysis to identify typologies and trends related to human trafficking and works with non-governmental organizations, other financial institutions, and law enforcement to share these typologies and trends. She also co-leads a working group within Wells Fargo to enhance the anti-human trafficking program. Cassie currently serves as the point of contact for Wells Fargo in the United Nations Finance Against Slavery and Trafficking’s Survivor Inclusion Initiative. The initiative aims to provide survivors of modern slavery and human trafficking access to basic financial services. Prior to her role in GFCIG, Cassie was a contractor Intelligence Analyst in the FBI Cyber Division working financially motivated cybercrime and an Intelligence Analyst at the National Counterterrorism Center. She holds a BS in Criminal Justice from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a MS in Criminal Justice with a Crime Analysis Concentration from Tiffin University.
