In the face of some of the worst challenges our world has ever experienced, there is still tremendous hope. Human rights activist Matthew Friedman reminds us that we can all be the everyday heroes offering this hope. From his first story, Friedman moves his audience’s heart. His compelling anecdotes related to his fight against human trafficking, practical wisdom and rich lessons compiled over his 40-year career inspires us all to pause and reflect, to consider using our gifts and talents, and our spheres of influence to take action to help make a difference in this world. The core message of his speech is: "Everyone who steps up to help, no matter how big or small a gesture, is a hero. Each of us has this spirit inside us which needs to be recognized and nurtured to reach its full potential.“ Through his process, he compels each of us to examine our own potential and purpose in life by looking at how our lives could serve others.
Friedman clearly and engagingly shows the audience that it only takes a small act by each of us to collectively make an enormous difference in helping to solve our global problems. His presentation will inspire you and your team to begin your own personal journey of contribution to the greater good through many practical examples of heroic actions that anyone can undertake. With one powerful example after another Friedman shifts mind-sets and changes lives for the better.
