Seymour Senior
Misheca Seymour Senior is the Group Chief Compliance Officer with NCB Financial Group (NCBFG), a financial services conglomerate operating in over 20 Caribbean territories and parent company of the National Commercial Bank of Jamaica (NCB).
Misheca is acertified anti-money laundering and counter-financing of terrorism (“AML/CFT”) compliance practitioner with over 15 years of experience in the area. She currently leads the Group Compliance and Fraud Prevention Units within NCBFG and is therefore responsible for the development, implementation and effectiveness of the compliance and fraud prevention programmes. This includes ensuring that appropriate measures are maintained to combat money laundering and financing of terrorism and to prevent, detect, investigate, manage, and report fraud, while monitoring and ensuring overall compliance with regulations relevant to the Group.
An attorney-at-law by profession, Misheca previously served in the roles of Legal Counsel and Company Secretary to entities withinNCBFG. Prior to joining NCB she was employed as an associate at the law firm –Myers, Fletcher & Gordon.
Misheca received an LLB from the University of the West Indies and a Certificate of Legal Education from the Norman Manley Law School. She is also a certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist, Certified Global Sanctions Specialist, a member of the Jamaica Bankers Association's (JBA's) Compliance Committee and currently serves as a member of the Jamaica Stock Exchange e-Campus Compliance & InformationGovernance Advisory Board.
