Benjamin is currently the Global and Europe FCC Head for Financial Institutions and Affiliates, covering traditional Correspondent Banking, non-Bank FIs, and the growing types of non-traditional financial services providers. Based in the United States, he has overseen the development and enhancement of HSBC’s Correspondent Banking risk management framework. In this role, Benjamin also participates in Wolfsberg Group working groups for the CB Due Diligence Questionnaire, Cyberfraud Risk, and FinTech Due Diligence principles. Prior to joining HSBC, Benjamin was at JPMorgan Chase within its Global Financial Crime Compliance function where he managed a team of investigators covering the Corporate & Investment Bank, including JPMorgan’s USD Correspondent Banking investigations. Benjamin has a law degree and an undergraduate degree in Philosophy; which comes in handy to persuade internal and external stakeholders on how to solve the problems facing complex, global organizations.
