Andrew is a career legal & compliance professional, with experience in APAC for more than 25 years. He has worked in various global financial institutions at the C Suite level, and has experience in all fields within retail, corporate and private banking, and also in the fintech and regtech spaces. His digital journey commenced in 1998, where he set up TD Waterhouse (now Ameritrade) in Hong Kong in 1998 for internet trading, and has directly experienced the genesis of the dematerialization of securities, direct exchange access, platform trading, and performed data centre compliance oversight, and approved trade finance utilizing blockchain. His last role in banking saw him pivot to digital transformation for regulatory projects to broaden his experience in project management. He now works with Synpluse in their regulatory practice, and is in the midst of deploying various personal digital and blockchain projects.
