Overview

A panel Northeast Ohio AML Task Force members will discuss several recent Crypto Currency Investigations, and the explosion of card skimming cases, they have undertaken.  The panel will be comprised of investigators attached to the Northeast Ohio AML Task Force, including Brian Sallee, Task Force Head.

They plan on discussing the numerous telemarketing scams, romance scams, etc. which the perpetrators use crypto currency to move and hide their crime proceeds.  The task force members will provide tips to investigators from financial institutions to aid them in their tracking these movements over the blockchain.

In addition, the panel will discuss the explosion of card skimming cases they are experiencing.
