Overview

This event will bring together professionals from across the financial sector, along with representatives from regulatory authorities, to explore the increasingly complex relationship between anti-money laundering obligations and data protection requirements.

The event aims to provide clarity on these dual obligations and foster dialogue among practitioners, regulators, and governance experts. The conference aims to shed light on how these two regulatory regimes interact.

The event will feature a presentation from representatives of the CNPD, who will provide valuable insights into current regulatory developments and supervisory expectations.

Following the CNPD’s presentation, a dynamic discussion will take place featuring experts from various corners of the industry. The conversation will bring together an esteemed expert from HACA Partners, a General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer from the insurance sector, and an ILA-certified independent director, alongside CNPD representatives. Together, they will explore the practical challenges of reconciling AML and GDPR requirements, share perspectives from their respective fields, and offer strategies for navigating regulatory complexity without compromising compliance or client trust.

To make the session as relevant and engaging as possible, participants will have the opportunity to submit questions here prior to the event. These questions will be addressed during the discussion, allowing participants to gain deeper insight into the issues that matter most to them.
