Dolzikova
Darya Dolzikova is a Research Analyst with the Royal United Services Institute’s (RUSI) Proliferation and Nuclear Policy programme. Her research focuses on understanding the nuclear weapons programmes of Iran and North Korea, the ways in which weapons of mass destruction proliferation is financed, and best practices on countering proliferation finance (CPF) and sanctions evasion. As part of her work, she provides guidance to representatives of governments and financial institutions on understanding their exposure to proliferation financing (PF) risk and strengthening their CPF and sanctions-compliance regimes. Darya has authored an assessment of North Korean PF activities and gaps in CPF controls in southern and eastern Africa, as well as guidance on assessing national PF risk. Prior to joining RUSI, Darya had served as the manager of government relations and policy development at Canada’s national aerospace industry association. She holds an M.A. in Security Studies from Georgetown University.
