Carsten recently joined N26 Bank as the Director of Global Fraud Prevention. Before taking this position, he worked for Commerzbank as the Global Head of Fraud, Bribery and Corruption Prevention. Carsten and his teams set the global Fraud and ABC strategies and framework, and supervised all global implementation measures of units involved in fraud and bribery prevention. He also built up a Risk Management team that was dedicated to developing and implementing credit fraud detection analytics.
Carsten is a graduate in economics from the University of Mannheim and the Universitat Pompeu Fabra. He started his career working for an international business consultancy with emphasis on quantification of credit and operational risks.
He currently co-leads or is a member of various fraud and ABC related networks such as the Madison Group UK or the Fraud Prevention Working Group of the Association of German Banks.
