Overview

“This session will focus on the vulnerable population of human trafficking victims. Our panel will consist of insights from a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), the legal community and the Financial Intelligence Unit of a Financial Institution. The panel will discuss emerging risks and how to enhance analytics and typologies and behaviors for AML detection (and the legal and regulatory risks associated with this), how to develop code or algorithm’s to generate necessary alerts, the “Bank Consortium Concept,” and survey results gathered from survivors about their interactions with financial institutions to help inspire survivor-informed improvements to business and AML-related processes.
