ACAMS has teamed up with the Liechtenstein Initiative for Finance Against Slavery and Trafficking (FAST Initiative) to develop the first of its kind human trafficking certificate.

Developed by industry leaders, this free online training aims to raise awareness about the financial footprints left by modern slavery and human trafficking and provides a framework to help mitigate and remedy these risks.

What we’ll cover:

  • An introduction to modern slavery and human trafficking and their financial footprints
  • Emerging industry and statutory expectations relating to modern slavery and human trafficking risks
  • How to identify financial footprints of modern slavery through transactions analysis, red flags, and key indicators
  • How to manage modern slavery risks through due diligence, transaction analysis, reporting and monitoring, engagement, divestment, and derisking

The course is delivered online, and is comprised of:

  • Video lessons developed by industry experts
  • Roughly two hours of overall coursework
  • A 30-minute online post-assessment

Participants who successfully complete the Fighting Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Certificate course receive:

  • A digital certificate of completion
  • 4 CAMS credits towards CAMS certification or CAMS recertification eligibility*
  • 70-page PDF of reading material with external links for further training

About FAST Initiative

This course has been developed in conjunction with subject matter experts from the Liechtenstein Initiative for Finance Against Slavery and Trafficking (FAST Initiative). A project based at the United Nations University Centre for Policy Research, FAST Initiative helps to provide a framework to accelerate action to end modern slavery and human trafficking.
