Edward Silva is a Vice President and the Head of the Financial Crimes Unit in the Compliance Function of the Legal Group. He is a founding member of the Compliance Function and is responsible for developing and implementing the Bank’s Anti-Money Laundering, U.S. Economic Sanctions and Anti-Fraud Compliance Programs. Prior to joining Compliance, Mr. Silva began his career in 1998 as a Bank Examiner in the Supervision Group. He examined large complex banking institutions, regional banks, community banks and branches and agencies of foreign banking institutions and progressed through positions of increasing responsibility.
