Andrea Proctor is the Director (Ag.,) of the Regulatory Affairs Unit in Ministry for Financial Services, having joined the Ministry in 2018. Ms. Proctor is an attorney at law by profession, is admitted to practice in four jurisdictions and holds an LL.M: Banking and Finance from the Queen Mary and Westfield, University of London. Prior to joining, Ms. Proctor practiced as a regulatory Attorney in the Cayman Islands, and a Solicitor in the UK.
As the Director (Ag.,) of the Regulatory Affairs Unit, Ms. Proctor is responsible for overseeing the implementation of policy and regulatory measures by agencies falling within the Ministry’s purview, including the General Registry, and Department for Commerce and Investments. Ms. Proctor is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments.
