Overview

This presentation will observe trends, case studies, and success stories relating to check fraud.  We will examine tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) utilized by threat actors on platforms such as Telegram and other social media outlets.  We will also explore the evolving threat landscape as it pertains to engaging or facilitating check fraud and resources such as the Check Fraud Working Group hosted out of the National Cyber Forensics Training Alliance in Pittsburgh for financial institutions and law enforcement.
