Katerina is the AML and Client Acceptance Leader for the Deloitte Middle East Firm and a Director of AML and Regulatory Advisory Services.
Katerina has over 20 years of experience in the field of regulatory risk advisory, leading AML/CFT related projects for Supervisory Authorities and numerous financial and other institutions.
She is one of the Country’s AML Champions and member of ICPAC’s AML and Compliance Committee. She is also the Chairwoman of the AML and Compliance Committee of the Cyprus CISI.
Katerina delivers regular trainings on AML/CFT and Risk Management Programs. She has also participated on a number of National and International Conferences as a speaker or panellist.
Katerina prior to joining Deloitte Katerina has spent more than 10 years in a supervisory authority hat, working for the Cyprus Stock Exchange. Before that she qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ACA) in London with Arthur Andersen. Katerina holds BSc and MSc degrees of City University of London, and she is a CAMS specialist.
Katerina is the Co- Founder and the Vice President of Charisma Foundation for Charismatic Persons with special needs and a special talent.
