Rolle
Ms. Rolle is employed with the Central Bank of The Bahamas and maintains a long-tenured career with this institution, spanning just over two decades within the Bank Supervision Department. Her career with the Central Bank has evolved over time with a series of promotions, offering, new opportunities, challenges and exposure. She headed several of the operating units within the department and was instrumental in the creation of the Authorization Unit in 2009. She currently holds the post of Deputy Inspector of Banks and Trust Companies, thus being the first Bahamian to ascend to this newly created role in 2018. In her current role, she provides leadership and technical support in the running of the department in consultation with the Inspector of Banks and Trust Companies. She also shares the portfolio for public engagement with public officials, industry stakeholders, foreign regulators and other international agencies on pertinent matters impacting the financial sector.
Ms. Rolle currently serves on several of the internal committees within the Central Bank, such as Monetary Policy Committee, the Policy Advisory Committee and the IT Modernization Steering Committee. In addition, she is a member of the Deposit Insurance Board. She is also the current sitting Chair for the Caribbean Group of Bank Supervisors. Ms. Rolle holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Florida Memorial College and an MBA from Nova Southeastern University. She is also an alumnus of the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, having completed its flagship program, “Senior Managers in Government” in 2019 along with other executive studies. Ms. Rolle also hold the international CAMS designation.
