Ed Rosenberg was appointed as the Senior Vice President & Chief Security Officer for Scotiabank in 2019. In this role, he provides strategic direction and operational oversight over investigations, intelligence, insider threat and physical security globally.
Ed has over 30 years of progressive experience in leadership roles focusing on the management of criminal risks, focusing on fraud, physical security and insider threats. Prior to joining Scotiabank, he was the Chief Security Officer at Bank of Montreal, and previously Chief Security Officer at the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce.
He is a global leader in the criminal risk space and has spoken to customers, law enforcement and various industry forums. He has led the Canadian Bankers Association financial crimes specialists’ groups and is the current chairman of The International Banking Security Association.
