Tyler is the CEO of Sanctions Advisory which is a Copenhagen and Oslo-based consultancy supporting clients in the Nordics, Asia and US to manage their political risk, Sanctions, and export control compliance obligations. Previously, he served with the US Department of the Treasury, US Department of State, US Embassy Helsinki and as the Head of Advisory – Sanctions at Nordea. In his tenure with the US government, he was instrumental in driving policy and enforcement on Russia, Iran, North Korea, Syria and Africa Sanctions programs, particularly in collaboration with Nordic governments. Tyler earned a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, and a B.A. in International Affairs, cum laude, from The George Washington University.
