McGowan
Since 2013, Marilyn has rejoined JPMorgan Chase & Co. as a vice president working in wealth management, training, and communication. She attained her CAMS certification in September 2014, and was the firm wide contact for ACAMS memberships and CAMS examinations until February 2017.
Prior to her return to JP Morgan Chase, Marilyn was a senior manager at the Edcomm Group Banker’s Academy in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania. In that role, she taught instructor-led courses in their clients’ offices in the UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, and Egypt from 2009 to 2012. From 1995 from 2002,she was a vice president in master trust sales at the State Street Corporation in Boston, Massachusetts. Her corporate career had originally began at Chase Manhattan Bank N. A. in New York. Marilyn worked in various departments there including corporate management, international operations and systems, as well as global securities services.
After graduating from the City University of New York’s Hunter College with a master of science degree in hearing and language impairment, Marilyn taught for seven years at the School for the Deaf – JHS 47 in New York.
