Cinthya Rebaza joined Public Safety Canada in 2021 as Director of Serious and Organized Crime Policy where she is responsible for the implementation of Canada’s National Strategy for the Protection of Children from Sexual Exploitation on the Internet, the National Strategy to Combat Human Trafficking and for policy development to combat organized crime in Canada.
Cinthya joined the federal public service in 2004 and has worked at Employment & Social Development Canada, the Immigration and Refugee Board and at Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) where she managed operations in different lines of business for over 10 years. Cinthya has a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Université de Montréal.
