Connolly
Michael Connolly is currently serving as a Staff Coordinator for the Drug Enforcement Administration’s (DEA) Special Operations Division within the Mexico, Central America and Canada regions. He consults with DEA case agents throughout the world and coordinates multi-agency projects targeting Transnational Criminal Organizations. Mr. Connolly also serves as the subject matter expert on Cartel Jalisco New Generation (CJNG) for the DEA Special Operations Division.
Prior to serving as a Staff Coordinator, he worked as a special agent within DEA’s Bi-lateral Investigations Unit (BIU). While in this specialized unit, Mr. Connolly targeted the highest level international drug traffickers, money launderers, weapons traffickers and corrupt politicians throughout the world. He regularly coordinated with and worked alongside law enforcement organizations from various countries spanning the globe.
Mr. Connolly began his law enforcement career in 2002 as a Police officer in Massachusetts. In 2009, he was hired as a special agent by the Drug Enforcement Administration and assigned to the Atlanta, GA Field Division. Mr. Connolly is a graduate of Norwich University with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. He subsequently earned a Master’s Degree from Western New College in Public Administration.
