What is The Assembly? 

The Assembly is the new name for our global conference series. In 2023, The Assembly series includes our conferences in Hollywood, Europe, Australasia, LATAM, Las Vegas, MENA, Canada, Japan, the Caribbean, and our FinTech & Crypto event in Texas. In 2024, our APAC conference will also be part of The Assembly series.  

What is changing?    

The ACAMS Canada conference is now called The Assembly Canada.

You’ll see our new branding in all of our conference communications, on-site at our conference venues, and across our virtual event platform. The Assembly Canada will be brought to life with bright colors and imagery, representing the exciting, productive, and creative environment of our conferences.

What isn’t changing?  

The name and branding of each event will change, but the conference program will stay the same. You can expect the same quality conference content that the ACAMS Canada conference has always been renowned for. This includes expert speakers, a diverse program, and dedicated networking time – all aimed at helping you broaden your horizons and sharpen your skillset.  

I’ve already booked to attend a conference this year, is my ticket still valid?     

Yes – the only thing that’s changing is the name of the event you are attending. Your booking is still valid and no other details about the event will change.    

Can I sponsor or exhibit at The Assembly?  

Yes, we’re always delighted to hear from potential sponsors and exhibitors. Please fill out the form on this page and we will be in touch.

Yes. Continuing professional development is a cornerstone of professionalism for practitioners in financial crime prevention. Attendees will earn 11 ACAMS credits for attending the conference.

Yes. A certificate will be sent via email two weeks after the event.

Because of privacy regulations, we can’t release the names of attendees. If you want to know who else is attending, why not join in the conversation on social media in the days and weeks before the conference – use #ACAMSAssembly to connect with other attendees. 

ACAMS members receive special prices at all of our events. We also offer a special Public Sector price and group packages. For more details, contact your ACAMS Account Manager, or get in touch with us via acams.org/contact-us.

The Assembly Canada passes are non-refundable. Pass holders may request a pass transfer to another person, colleague, or client up until November 2, 2023. If you are unable to transfer the pass to another person for the 2023 event, you can transfer your pass to the next in-person event. Please note that if the transfer is made from an ACAMS member to a non-ACAMS member, you will be charged the difference in cost. If the transfer is from a non-ACAMS member to an ACAMS member, the non-ACAMS member will receive a credit in their account. Refunds will not be available.

ACAMS considers the health and safety of all conference attendees a priority. We also encourage all attendees to take the necessary protective measures for their individual health circumstances. While masks are no longer required, they remain optional for anyone choosing to wear one. Sanitization stations will also be available throughout the meeting space and those that wish to maintain social distance should do so. If you want to wear a mask but forget yours, please visit our Registration Services Desk for a disposable mask.
