Williams
As a Deputy Associate Director in the Supervision and Regulation Division of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, Ms. Williams oversees the Federal Reserve’s strategic policy, supervisory guidance, and regulatory initiatives related to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), anti-money laundering (AML), and Office of Foreign Assets Control. In 2022, Ms. Williams was appointed as the Federal Reserve’s representative on the Appraisal Subcommittee of the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council. She is also responsible for oversight of regulatory and strategic policy related to operational resilience and risk management. Ms. Williams previously served as the Manager of the BSA/AML Section and joined the Federal Reserve in 2005 after spending 15 years at the FDIC and the Department of the Treasury in various supervisory positions. Ms. Williams has a master’s degree in financial management from the University of Maryland and a bachelor’s degree in international business from King’s College.
