Sam has over 20+ years in technology across consulting, product management, business development, strategy, and delivery management of enterprise programs. This experience has been gained across the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. Sam joined Mastercard in April 2019, coming from PwC. At PwC he was responsible for the management and delivery of enterprise Digital Identity solutions and supporting partners to build a leading Digital Identity practice, as well as helping clients to develop and execute Digital Identity strategic roadmaps and solutions. In his role at Mastercard, Sam is focusing his efforts on helping organisations to not only secure transactions but embed trust across every interaction. Sam leads Mastercard Crypto Intelligence services across A/NZ, enabling financial institutes, governments, and exchanges to gain visibility into cryptocurrency transactions. Sam is additionally focused on helping businesses to reduce friction for trusted customers across all interactions, while preventing account takeover and fraud. Sam has a passion for Digital Identity and is working on scaling Mastercard’s interoperable Digital Identity network – ID – which enables individuals with a secure, safe, and reusable way to share their highly verified identity information, without oversharing.
